La Clinica, Nuevos Cuidadores y Voluntarios

Captain's Log, Day 60: We have hired and are training two new zookeepers. The holes have been dug for the foundation of the vet clinic. With the zoo's money from a meet-our-baby-lion photo opportunity from this past holiday weekend, we were able to buy more materials to further our preventative health measures. Another volunteer who will be here for over a month after I leave is going to be my inside woman for realizing new enrichment and nutrition programs. Ernesto's first child will be arriving any minute.

I know I've said it before...but life here is wild.
